The Shadow Knightsare a casual-progression guild. We have casual raid days with a hardcore setting. The guild was created back in BC a group of friends that started on a new server and leveled together. We didn't want a hardcore raiding schedule to dictate the majority of our time, thus the casual raid days. We do content at our own pace with progression in mind.
Raid Days/Times:Tuesday – 9:30 pm – 12:30 am Server Time (EST)
Wednesday – 9:30 pm – 12:30 am Server Time (EST)
Invites go out at 9:00 pm so that first pull will be 9:30 or earlier. Rarely will we ever go past 12:30 am. Lockouts may be extended to push progression content.

Members and ApplicantsMembers Rank InfoMembers are generally are not invited to our raids. The exception to the rule is if we have a raid that isn't full after raid start time (9:30) we may decide to fill those spots with Members. At this time you may be contacted asking if you'd like to come along (you don't have to). I say may because inviting Members into the raid is done completely at the raid council's discretion. If we are in need of a healer and you are a rogue you won't be getting that last spot. Sometimes we are trying for a specific achievement where an undergeared player or one with poor situational awareness may hamper the goal of the raid, this is another situation you may not be invited. Please try to be understanding that while we would enjoy bringing everyone along sometimes raid comps & content just don't support it. There may also be times that you are asked to sit after being invited in for a few bosses. The raid council does have their reasoning for this and it will be explained on a per case basis. This is a rare occurrence but it could happen so be aware.
We expect as much skill & dedication out of members of the guild as we do out of apps & raiders.
Application Process1. Fill out an application (link below). Make sure to read
everything. Register with the character name you are applying with. NO EXCUSES.
2. Our recruitment forum is public so applicants and The Shadow Knight's members can communicate. If your class is not listed for recruitment, you may not get a response.
3. If your class is open for recruiting, be on during our raid hours. If you can't make it, let an officer know (tells, in-game mail, forum PMs). We will trial you on current content. This may take multiple weeks and may take time.
4. We do not guild you just because you apply. We evaluate you on many different levels - i.e situational awareness, your performance as per your gears, attendance, etc. What we expect out of you are what we expect out of our raiders.
To ApplyPlease apply on our home page, below is a direct link for your ease:

The Shadow Knights and YouRaidsThe Shadow Knights has always been about progression at our own pace. Rarely will we ever extend our raid days/hours. Even with new content, we will continue to raid 6 hours a week. We respect your work hours and class schedules as you should respect the guild's raid time. Be prompt, be prepared, be knowledged.
Anything outside of raid schedule is purely optional.
Bring Your A GameTo be able to do content and achievements in 6 hours a week, we expect all our raiders to be on top of their game. Be knowledgeable about your class and the raid target. If you do not understand something, ask around. Be informed. Don't come to raids unprepared and waste other people's times.
Applicants and GearsThe guild will not carry you. You are required to be roughly gear equivalent of or close to current content.
Professions, Enchants, and ReputationsWhile we do not require you to have certain professions, you should at least have something. No profs, rep (when applicable), or proper enchants just shows extreme lack of effort and you may get turned down on the spot.
UI, Mods, and MumbleMumble is a must. UI and Mods are not. Raid leading is a huge responsibility, thus it is your duty to listen and pay attention. We do not care what your UI looks like for raiding. If it works for you, it works for you. We do not require you to have specific mods. However, you should be able to perform well in our raid setting. Don't be detrimental to the raid or you will be removed and/or demoted.
Honesty & CommunicationAbove all else this is most important. We try to keep a small raiding roster so people do not have to sit. Please let us know when you can't make it to a raid. Inform us of any any extended absences before hand. If you decide you'd prefer another guild, let us know so we can make arrangements while you seek out your guild. Doing otherwise will greatly harm your ability to stay in The Shadow Knights and your reputation with us.
